Helius is the name of a new smart pill created by Proteus Medical and Novartis, a firm based in Switzerland.
The invention features an abiodegradable chip and medication and it is able to track a patient's health signs and send the collected data to a smartphone.
It is worth mentioning that the pill will provide important information on heart rate, temperature, glucose level and respiratory rate of the person who administers it.
